The inaugural ride, taking place April 24-26, 2026, from Los Angeles to San Diego, raises funds to support the Center's life-saving programs and services.
The event replaces their AIDS/LifeCycle ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles that raised more than $300 million for HIV/AIDS services since 1994.
"For decades, our community has come together to ride for something greater than ourselves," said Joe Hollendoner, CEO of the Los Angeles LGBT Center.
"Center Ride Out honors a rich legacy while charting a bold path forward-celebrating our progress and recommits us to fight for health equity, compassion, and visibility for all LGBTQ+ people."
The three-day outing takes riders from the heart of Los Angeles through Riverside County's rolling hills, ending on the coast of San Diego.
Proceeds from Center Ride Out will directly fund the Center's mission to create a world where every LGBTQ+ person can live freely and fully.
This year's ride includes a minimum fundraising requirement of $2,500 by April 10, 2026, for all participants.
The inaugural ride will be capped at 525 participants, and registration has already reached 50 percent of that goal.
In addition to supporting the Los Angeles LGBT Center, 10 percent of net proceeds will benefit the San Diego LGBT Community Center and The LGBTQ Community Center of the Desert.
Registration and fundraising are now open at lalgbtcenter.org/centerrideout.
