Officers responded to a shooting call at a home on Ridgewood Place around 11:43 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
When they arrived, they found two people dead - a woman who is believed to be the victim and a 39-year-old man who police say is the suspect.
A third person, a 70-year-old woman, was also shot. She was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Investigators recovered a handgun at the scene, but additional details about what led up to the shooting were not available.
The relationship between all three of the individuals was also not known.
