Los Angeles County Fire Department firefighters arrived at the scene in the 5800 block of Telegraph Road about 6:45 a.m, a spokesperson said. Massive flames were seen emanating through the roof of the single-story structure.
Less than 15 minutes later, the blaze was upgraded to a second alarm as firefighters went into defensive mode. At least two aerial ladders were deployed.
More than 80 firefighters responded to the flames, which were knocked down about an hour after the Fire Department arrived.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
