Massive tree falls on top of truck, blocks off street in Pacoima neighborhood

PACOIMA, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A massive tree fell on top of a car and blocked off a street in a Pacoima neighborhood Monday afternoon - but no injuries have been reported.

Firefighters responded just after 4 p.m. to the 12300 block of Osborne Place, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

AIR7 footage shows a parked truck pinned underneath a giant tree limb, which blocked off the entire street.

Another part of the tree, which was split in half, landed close to homes and covered the sidewalk.

No injuries have been reported, but some wires may be down.



The incident comes as windy conditions continue in Southern California, but it's unclear what caused the tree to fall.
