Medical office building in Encino evacuated after fire call; firefighters give all clear

ENCINO, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A medical office building in Encino was briefly evacuated Tuesday morning after a report of a possible structure fire.

Fire crews were dispatched to the Specialty Surgical Center of Encino on Ventura Boulevard after receiving calls about a fire inside the building. Surgeries were underway at the time, Eyewitness News learned.

When firefighters arrived, people were already evacuating the facility.

No one was transported for medical care, and after the building was deemed safe, patients were allowed to return inside.

Fire officials later issued an "all clear," concluding the response.
