SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, Calif. (KABC) -- Sitting in the very church Father Junipero Serra founded more than 200 years ago, visitors to Mission San Juan Capistrano watched as Pope Francis canonized the Franciscan priest Wednesday.

Father Serra is now Saint Serra.
