LAKE VIEW TERRACE, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Multiple people are hurt after a reported wrong-way crash on the westbound 210 Freeway in the San Fernando Valley on Saturday. Most of the westbound lanes were blocked for nearly five hours.

The crash happened around 5:45 p.m. on the westbound 210 Freeway near the 118 Freeway in the Lake View Terrace area.

According to California Highway Patrol, a Tesla was reportedly driving the wrong way at high speeds on the freeway when it crashed into a truck, causing it to overturn.

After the first crash, a second crash with additional vehicles was reported. The box truck was engulfed in flames.

The Los Angeles Fire Department said four patients were being assessed for treatment and/or transport to area hospitals. Firefighters extinguished the flames.

Video from the Citizen App shows one person with severe lacerations to their arm/hand. At least one other patient was seen being loaded into an ambulance.

CHP issued a SigAlert, closing all but one westbound lane of the 210 Freeway between Osborne Street and the 118 Freeway for hours. The SigAlert was canceled and all lanes were reopened by 10:35 p.m.
