The incident happened shortly after 10:20 p.m. Sunday on 6th Street. The bus was making a right turn onto the street when it struck the pedestrian who was running in the crosswalk, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The victim, who has not been identified, died at the scene.
Police are investigating the incident.
