Wiman recalled their thinking that led to the discovery: 'If we had just killed these people, we are covered with blood, where would we go and where would we throw the clothes.' (KABC)
Estimating the murderers' escape, Wiman and his crew drove down Benedict Canyon from Tate's home, timing how long it would take to get undressed and redressed. (KABC)
