POMONA, Calif. (KABC) -- A judge has revoked bail for a 48-year-old man accused in a double killing in Pomona and a separate pursuit last week.

Robert Galtman appeared in court Wednesday, when a judge ordered that he remain in custody. Galtman is accused of killing his former girlfriend, 24-year-old Veronica Lopez, and her 48-year-old neighbor, Richard Brady.

Members of Lopez's family say she had been in a relationship with Galtman that involved domestic violence.

"She was young but she was also grown," said Sabrina Lopez, the victim's sister. "She made her own decisions, and none of us could have stopped her from being in an ugly relationship besides herself. It is never ever, ever ok to stick in a domestic violence relationship. There are so many resources to help you get out of what you are in," said Sabrina Lopez, the victim's sister.

Galtman's arraignment was postponed to July 21.
