San Bernardino bobcat and toddler share encounter face-to-face in Upper Waterman Canyon, video shows

Through a screen door, what looks to be a harmless kitty is actually a bobcat, hoping to make a new friend with a toddler.

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (KABC) -- A toddler came face-to-face with a wild bobcat in San Bernardino on Wednesday!

The video was taken at the family's home in Upper Waterman Canyon, a small neighborhood off Highway 18.

Through the safety of the sliding door, the dangerous predator looks like a big, friendly kitty, the video shows.

Bobcats are typically wary of humans, but this one clearly made an exception.
