Deputies responded to a two-car collision around 5:38 p.m. Saturday near Ramona Expressway and Rider Street, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
"Upon arrival, deputies located five injured subjects in one of the vehicles, with two subjects suffering from life-threatening injuries. The driver and sole occupant of the second vehicle was also injured," authorities said in a news release.
All six people were taken to a hospital.

Sheriff's officials on Monday announced that Silvia Corona, a 52-year-old San Jacinto woman, was arrested in connection with the crash.
Corona is facing charges of second-degree murder, gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and driving under the influence of alcohol causing injury, according to authorities.
An investigation is ongoing.
