Stagecoach Country Music Festival set to continue with Lainey Wilson headlining on Day 2

INDIO, Calif. (CNS) -- The Stagecoach Country Music Festival continues into its second day in Indio, with Lainey Wilson set to headline Saturday evening.

The three-day, all-ages event runs through Sunday at the Empire Polo Club, 81800 51st Ave.

Saturday's lineup also features Journey, Little Big Town, Bush, Teddy Swims, Chase Matthew, Lane Pittman and Billy Bob Thornton and The Boxmasters.

Cody Johnson, who was joined by surprise guests Boyz II Men for a rendition of their song "On Bended Knee," headlined Friday night,

Friday's lineup included Wynonna Judd, Sam Barber, Red Clay Strays, Nate Smith, Counting Crows, BigXthaPlug, Marcus King Band and Hannah McFarland.



Post Malone is scheduled to close out the festival Sunday. Each headliner is set to perform at 9:30 p.m. on the Mane Stage.

Additional performers across the Mane, Palomino, Bud Light and Mustang stages include Bailey Zimmerman, Chase Rice, Riley Green, Brooks & Dunn, Brett Young, Wyatt Flores, Amos Lee and Hootie & the Blowfish.

Festivalgoers can also attend sets at Diplo's Honky Tonk, featuring DJ Pauly D, Loud Luxury, Two Friends and Marshmello, among others. The venue also includes Guy Fieri*s Smokehouse and appearances by Whiskey Jam and the Compton Cowboys.



Road closures were in effect for the festival, including Avenue 50 between Monroe Street and Madison Avenue through May 4. Alternate routes include Highway 111, Dr. Carreon Boulevard, Avenue 48 and Avenue 52.



Additional road closures will be in place Friday through Monday during the festival. The road closures will include:

-- Avenue 49 between Hjorth and Monroe streets;

-- Avenue 50 between Madison and Jackson streets;

-- Hjorth Street between Avenue 49 and Avenue 50, and

-- Madison Street between Avenue 49 and Avenue 52.



The following streets will be the primary access routes from Thursday through Monday:

-- southbound Jefferson Street from Interstate 10 to Avenue 52;

-- southbound Washington Street from I-10 to Avenue 52;

-- southbound Monroe Street from I-10 to Avenue 52;

-- Avenue 48 between Jefferson and Jackson streets;



-- Highway 111 at Jefferson Street;

-- I-10 exit eastbound at Jefferson Street;

-- I-10 exit eastbound at Monroe Street; and

-- I-10 exit eastbound at Washington Street.

City officials said the best access for ride-hailing vehicles will be at Avenue 49 and Monroe Street on the southwest corner. Taxi drop-off and pick- up will be at Avenue 52 and Madison Street on the northeast corner.

Pedestrian access to the festival will be available at:

-- corner of Avenue 49 and Monroe Street;

-- corner of Avenue 52 and Madison Street;

-- corner of Avenue 52 and Monroe Street; and

-- corner of Avenue 50 and Madison Street.

However, there will be no pedestrian access on Monroe Street between Avenue 49 and Avenue 52, nor Madison Street between Avenue 50 and Avenue 52. In addition, golf carts will not be permitted on any of the pedestrian-accessed streets.
