GLENDALE, Calif. (KABC) -- "Star Wars" fans swarmed stores to get their hands on new toys from the upcoming film "The Force Awakens" on what's been dubbed, "Force Friday."

The toys were unleashed at Disney Stores and other retailers like Target and Wal-Mart.

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" hits theaters in December.
