VENTURA, Calif. (KABC) -- The Ventura County Fair has begun in the city of Ventura.
Featuring rides, music and deep-fried food, it's branded as "a country fair with ocean air."

The fair is open daily from 11 a.m. until midnight and runs through Aug. 12.
