MORENO VALLEY, Calif. (KABC) -- Two mail theft suspects were caught on camera nearly running over a woman who confronted them in Moreno Valley on Sunday.
Video captured the suspects, who appeared to be an adult male and adult female, as they used a tool to break open a multi-unit mailbox at an apartment complex in northern Moreno Valley at about 2 p.m.

The suspects were spotted grabbing mail and throwing it into a gray Honda Civic with paper plates.
A woman later confronted the suspects, who attempted to flee the scene in the vehicle.

The woman stands in front of the Honda, and the driver appears to strike the woman in her right side with the vehicle. The woman did not appear to suffer a serious injury.
