HOUSTON -- Surveillance video shows a man tried to steal a woman's wallet from her unlocked car while pumping gas at a Houston gas station.

You can see a man get out of a SUV and then drop to the ground and open the driver's door of a car that's being filled with gas. The man tried to grab the woman's wallet and then drove off.

The crook dropped the wallet after the woman saw what was happening and tried to get another driver to help out.
