WB 210 Fwy reopens in Pasadena more than 12 hours after manufactured home slides off big rig

PASADENA, Calif. (KABC) -- All lanes of the 210 Freeway reopened in Pasadena Tuesday morning, more than twelve hours after a manufactured home slid off a big rig and onto the roadway.

The incident happened just before 7 p.m. Monday on westbound lanes near Lake Avenue, and most lanes were blocked.

By 6 a.m. the next morning, only the two left lanes were open, backing up traffic for miles. AIR7 was over the scene Tuesday morning where the manufactured home was still in lanes.

The freeway chaos started when the structure slid off a big rig and collided with another trailer and an SUV, according to the California Highway Patrol. At least one person was taken to the hospital with injuries.



All lanes of the freeway were reopened by around 8:42 a.m.
