These are the top 10 cities in the U.S. for pizza lovers

If you love pizza, this list might help you plan your next trip. Based on user reviews around the country, TripAdvisor has come up with a list of the best cities for pizza lovers to explore.



The list was determined by considering three factors: how many reviews the site received for pizzerias in that city, how well those pizza places were ranked and how many pizza places there were in relation to other types of restaurants. The finished list pits deep-dish versus thin-crust, with Chicago edging out New York to be crowned the pizza mecca.

As for the best individual restaurants, TripAdvisor named those based on user reviews, too. New York City dominated that list, snagging three of the top 10 spots.
