Woman attacked by dog in Long Beach

LONG BEACH, Calif. (KABC) -- A woman was hospitalized after a dog attack in Long Beach on Sunday.

Officers responded to West Anaheim Street near the Los Angeles River around 1:45 p.m. when they saw a dog biting the woman, according to the Long Beach Police Department.

Officers had to use a Taser to separate the two. Once the dog was subdued, the woman was taken to hospital. She is expected to be OK.

Police later determined that two dogs were involved in the attack, but it's unclear what happened to them.
