CHINA -- A woman from China conducted a scheme involving multiple boyfriends and iPhones that resulted in her having enough money for a home deposit.
The scheme involved a woman convincing her "20 boyfriends" to each buy her a new iPhone 7, which she then sold to buy a house.

The BBC reports that she collected about $18,000 in the scheme, just enough for the down payment on the residence. It's not clear if the guys knew that they were being duped.
