Los Angeles Department of Water and Power crews have been working around the clock to restore power to everyone in the Metro and Valley areas, and say outages have been sporadic.
As of 6:30 a.m., approximately 1,900 customers were impacted and it was unclear what time all power would be restored.
The outage comes after 1.5 million customers lost power this past week because of blackouts caused by high electricity demand.

The LADWP said customers broke a record more than a century old on Thursday.
Edison officials said it reached record levels on Wednesday that hadn't happened since 2007.
