President Barack Obama, Bill Murray hold Oval Office putting competition

Monday, December 12, 2016
WASHINGTON -- President Barack Obama invited Bill Murray to the White House for some friendly golf competition.

The president, who is a Chicago White Sox fan, told Murray, "Generally, I don't let Cubs fans into the Oval Office."

Murray responded by pointing to a Chicago Cubs logo on his shirt saying, "It is probably not a coincidence that your popularity is at an all-time high, so I would just stick with this."

The intent of the video posted to the White House's Facebook page was to promote the Thursday deadline to sign up for health coverage beginning Jan. 1 on HealthCare.gov.
