Deputies responded about 12:30 a.m. Tuesday to a report of a home-invasion robbery in the 5800 block of Rolling Pasture Place, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department.

The intruders, described as two armed males in masks, entered the home that sits behind a large set of gates at the end of a long driveway and stole an unspecified amount of property, said Gloria Huerta, a Sheriff's Department spokeswoman.
No injuries were immediately reported.
"This is a stupid house to pick to do a robbery because there's a long driveway you'd have to escape from," said next-door neighbor Leo Stantucci. " I don't know, it's crazy."

The deputies arrived at the scene to discover that the suspects had fled. A search of the area proved fruitless.
Meanwhile, many residents expressed concern because detectives have not said if the incident was targeted or random. Isaiah Pacheco said he's concerned it might've been a follow-home robbery.
"I'm always advising my girls, my family to look out when they're coming home," said Pacheco. "I'm always doing that... even when I enter the community, I'm always very alert... When I step out of the house, same thing. You never know."
