The fire was reported around noon at the Orange Grove Mobile Home Park on Celis Avenue near Huntington Street, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. Firefighters quickly extinguished the flames in less than 50 minutes.
AIR7 HD was over the scene where a thick plume of black smoke billowed from one of the mobile homes. Fire officials said the flames destroyed one unit and damaged two adjacent ones.
One man was rushed to the hospital in serious condition with burns to his face and hands, the department said. No other injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
