San Fernando High School boosts security after shooting threat posted on social media

PACOIMA, Calif. (KABC) -- An online threat to shoot students at San Fernando High School in Pacoima has parents concerned over safety.

The Los Angeles Unified School District said it notified parents on Thursday about the threat, which was posted on social media.

The incident was investigated by police, and the threat was deemed not credible.

Out of an abundance of caution, additional patrols were present on campus Friday.
