Woman sought after shooting at San Pedro bar leaves 1 dead, 2 hospitalized, police say

SAN PEDRO, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A woman was at large after killing a man and wounding two other people in an overnight shooting at a bar in San Pedro, authorities said.

Officers were called at approximately 12:15 a.m. to the Machista Bar at in the 900 block of South Pacific Street, near 10th Street, a Los Angeles Police Department spokeswoman said.

The incident began when there was an altercation inside the bar, and a woman fired multiple rounds striking three patrons, according to the LAPD.

A man was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not immediately identified.

Paramedics rushed a woman to a hospital in stable condition. Another man was also listed in stable condition after transporting himself to a hospital, police said.

The suspect fled the scene, and police had no detailed description of her.
