Fire burns through Valencia storage facility

VALENCIA, Calif. (KABC) -- A fire blazed through a number of storage units in a commercial area of Valencia, officials say.

The fire was reported around 7 p.m. at Extra Storage near Valencia Boulevard and Bouquet Canyon Road.

At least half a dozen units at the facility were showing flames and heavy smoke. Firefighters managed to get the flames reduced to heavy smoke in about 20 minutes.

The cause is under investigation.
