Video shows the large feline roaming around Foothill and Grandview avenues.
People in that neighborhood have reported mountain lion sightings the past few weeks. The sighting serves as a reminder to keep an eye on pets, especially smaller dogs.
No injuries were reported.
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife, which monitors mountain lion activity, says it's likely the same animal was spotted a few weeks ago. Because it's not tagged, they can't be sure.
While mountain lion prefers a diet of deer, it doesn't stop them from looking for other prey.
"Make sure you put pet food away," said Tim Daly, an information officer for the California Department of Fish and Wildlife. "Make sure if your small pet needs to go out at night you're keeping a good eye on that animal, make sure the lights are on."
