Man stabbed in brutal attack on East LA bus

EAST LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A brutal stabbing on a local bus left a man fighting to stay alive and investigators trying to track the suspect.

The bus was heading west on Whittier Boulevard in East Los Angeles when a passenger began repeatedly stabbing another man.

That suspect then ran off.

So far, police don't know who that suspect is or what sparked the violent attack.

The victim was rushed to the hospital.
