LASD Sgt. Steve Owen remembered 2 years after being killed in the line of duty

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Sgt. Steve Owen, who was fatally shot in the line of duty, was honored on the second anniversary of his death.

LANCASTER, Calif. (KABC) -- Friends, family and the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department gathered Friday to honor slain Sgt. Steve Owen on the second anniversary of his death.

Owen was shot and killed while investigating a burglary in Lancaster.

Two years after his death, Owen's family says the Antelope Valley community is still showing them the love and support they gave them right after Owen died.
