SAN FRANCISCO -- A local cyclist in the Bay Area created a fun way to burn off the extra calories that come with Thanksgiving.

Bret Lobree mapped out a route through the city in the shape of a turkey.

SF Curbed said the "turkey ride" is also one of the most grueling workouts any San Franciscan could commit to. It covers more than 50 miles, including the punishing Pacific Heights hills.

According to the cycling app Strava, the ride would take about four hours to complete.
