1 dead in fiery crash after SUV slams into bus in Valle Vista

VALLE VISTA, Calif. (KABC) -- A fiery crash involving a vehicle and bus in the Riverside County community of Valle Vista left one person dead early Sunday.

Officials said an SUV slammed into the parked bus, and the force of the crash pushed the bus into a house. It happened just after midnight in the 43400 block of Cedar Avenue.

The SUV driver was trapped inside and died at the scene, officials said.

There was no word on what led to the crash.
