QUARTZ HILL, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Kiley Dominguez isn't the only fanatical Dodger fan in her Quartz Hill home.

Her grandmother and 2-year-old brother are all about the blue and so is the rest of the family. Last year, the family even spent Mother's Day at a Dodger game.

The year before that, Kiley celebrated her quinceañera at Chavez Ravine watching the Boys in Blue. She actually turned 16 in 2020, but COVID caused celebrations to be placed on hold. Her quinceañera dress hung in the closet for a year until her mom had a bright idea.

"You know it would be cool if we had it at Dodger Stadium, and I said, yeah, it would be awesome. And little did I know, behind the scenes, she was already buying tickets for Mexican Heritage Night so I could dress up and celebrate my quinceañera at Dodger Stadium with my family," Kylie said.

With the exciting plans in place, tragedy struck at the heart of this family. A mere night before the big celebration, the family rushed to Arizona to say a final goodbye to Michell Pacheco's favorite aunt Araceli Avila.

They then rushed back to L.A. and headed straight to Dodger Stadium, wiping away tears as Kiley put on her quinceañera dress in the parking lot of the old ball park. Her mother believed the spirit of her auntie was with them that day.

"I had something of hers that I had with me that day. I love you, tia," she said.

Despite the sorrow, the family enjoyed celebrating Kiley's quinceañera at Dodger Stadium.

Kiley took pictures with lots of Dodger fans who helped her celebrate her special day. She says a Dodger security guard was so touched by fans embracing Kiley in her beautiful dress - that he gave her a game ball!
