SEATTLE (KABC) -- The Rams' season ended with a heartbreaking loss to the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC championship game on Sunday, and fans were left grappling with disappointment with many already turning their attention to next season.

Emotions ran high among fans who made the trip to Seattle for Sunday's game against the Seahawks.

Jacob Mandel of Torrance said the loss stung.

"It was a tough loss," he said. "The reality is Seattle executed more than we did ... It is what it is."

From St. Louis, Drew Blackmon shared similar disappointment but offered praise for the opposing team.

"Whoever won this game was Super Bowl champion, and I 100% give it to Seattle Seahawks because ... it was awesome. I can't deny that they won. I can't deny that they were the best team."

When asked about next year, he didn't hesitate: "L.A." He added, "If Stafford comes back, we win next year."

Jeremy Barrans of Iowa said the loss was particularly tough while surrounded by rival fans.

Standing amid Seahawks supporters, he joked, "I might have to disown them." Looking ahead to next year's championship, he said the outlook "depends if Stafford comes back."

Jorge Campos of Los Angeles said he's still hopeful about the team's future.

"I always have hope. You always hope for the better, always," he said.

Despite the heartbreak, many fans said they're already looking forward to the 2027 season - and to the possibility of watching their team fight for a championship on home turf.
