The discovery was made at about 4:30 p.m. along the 7900 block of Santa Monica Boulevard. Officials said a clerk at a laundromat called deputies, reporting there was a person inside a car who appeared to be unresponsive.
Homicide division officials were investigating, but it remained unclear how the person died.
