MID-CITY, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A pedestrian was hit and killed early Monday morning on the 10 Freeway in Mid-City, forcing the closure of several westbound lanes.
The incident was reported around 3:45 a.m. near Vermont Avenue.
It's unclear what led to the crash.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.
All lanes were initially closed before the far left lane was reopened. A SigAlert was issued.
