Dominique Newland
Dominique Newland joined ABC7 Eyewitness News team as a general assignment reporter in January 2026. She is originally from Indiana but thrilled to call sunny Southern California her new home.

Prior to joining KABC-TV, Dominique worked as a weekend morning anchor, weather anchor, and reporter at FOX 10 Phoenix. Before moving to Phoenix, she worked at KVUE in Austin, Texas, where she was an anchor, reporter and covering red carpet events. Dominique's broadcasting career started in Yuma, Arizona where she was a morning anchor and producer covering a variety of stories spanning immigration, being just miles away from the U.S.-Mexico border, agriculture, and presidential visits.

Dominique is a proud Hoosier as she graduated from Indiana University with a bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism. During her time at IU, she spent a semester in L.A. through the IU Media School interning in late night television. Dominique is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists.

In her free time, Dominique enjoys traveling, checking out new restaurants, shopping at farmers markets, perfecting her at home matcha latte and patiently waiting on Beyonce's next tour dates.
