1 killed, 1 wounded in South LA shooting

SOUTH LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- One person was killed and another wounded in a shooting in South Los Angeles Tuesday night, police said.

The shooting was reported just after 7 p.m. at Central Avenue and 87th Street.

One person was declared dead at the scene and another was transported to a hospital and is expected to survive.

Police say the shooting may be gang-related.

A man was seen fleeing the scene on foot, but a detailed description was not immediately available.
