INCREDIBLE PHOTOS: Artist blows up vintage Rolls-Royce

The Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow is a beautiful vintage car, so automobile aficionados may find this video hard to watch. Artist Tyler Shields drove one out into the the desert and blew it up for his latest art project.

The "Silver Shadow" series shows a model pouring fuel onto the Rolls-Royce before running away as the car goes up in flames in painfully beautiful slow motion.

This is not the first time Shields has destroyed expensive objects in the name of art. In 2012, there was a sizable backlash to his photo series of a pricey Birkin handbag meeting its demise.

For those wanting to see more of the "Silver Shadow" series, it will be on display in London later this month.
