LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The sexual abuse lawsuit levied against one Hollywood heavyweight by a former teen actor has been dismissed.

Michael Egan voluntarily dismissed his lawsuit against David Neuman, the former president of Disney TV and former chief programming officer at CNN.

"We have voluntarily dismissed the Hawaii complaints. Mr. Egan maintains the allegations and has even passed a polygraph test based on those specific allegations. We are evaluating our next step in seeking justice for Mr. Egan," Kayla Repan, a spokesperson for Herman Law, said in a statement Thursday.

However, the lawsuit still stands for three other men accused in the lawsuit, including "X-Men" director Bryan Singer, media executive Garth Ancier and producer-designer Gary Goddard. All three men have denied the claims.

A judge next month will consider motions to dismiss the remaining cases.

The withdrawal of the lawsuit against Neuman "exposes this despicable lawsuit for what it really was: an unethical smearing and failed shakedown of a completely innocent man," Neuman's Los Angeles attorneys said in a statement.

Egan, 31, claims he was lured into a sex ring with promises of auditions for acting, modeling and commercial jobs. He says he was abused between the ages of 15 and 17 and was threatened to keep quiet.

Singer and Goddard were also named in a second lawsuit filed by a new accuser last month. They are accused of sexually assaulting a British teen after taking him to a "Superman" premiere and after-party in London.

Both Singer and Goddard denied any wrongdoing in the second case as well.
