Anthony Anderson talks Emmy-nomination for 'Black-ish'
Anthony Anderson is up for an Emmy for his starring role on 'Black-ish' and is gearing up for season two.

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Anthony Anderson says he used to sneak into the Emmy party every year. But this year, he's an invited guest after being nominated for his starring role on TV's "Black-ish." He says he's still in shock.

"Words can't even begin to explain, you know, what that feels like," Anderson said. "I'm getting goosebumps right now sitting here talking to you about it. Just to sit back and just look at the people that I'm nominated with, the people that have been nominated before me and who have, you know, graced those halls and walked that floor and picked up the trophy. But, you know, being nominated is an honor unto itself."

Whether he takes home the Emmy or not, Anderson is taking "Black-ish" into season two, and he says they'll be tackling more issues in the coming season that will have people talking. Watch George Pennacchio's report in the video above.
