Cheryl Burke to host LA County holiday arts celebration

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Cheryl Burke from "Dancing with the Stars" is taking on a new role for Christmas: Co-host of the 57th annual Los Angeles County Holiday Celebration.

The free event is Saturday - Christmas Eve - at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in downtown Los Angeles from 3 to 6 p.m. No reservations or tickets are required to attend and parking is free.

"This is going to be very entertaining," Burke said. "We've got over 20 musical acts, dance acts. We're just celebrating the different arts, and dance and music. It's going to be a fun time. Come by and visit me everybody."

The celebration will also be broadcast live on PBS station KOCE.
