COLUMBIA, S.C. (KABC) -- A former member of R&B group Destiny's Child spoke out on social media Monday about her arrest over the weekend.

Farrah Franklin, 33, thanked people on Instagram for reaching out to her "during this messy time" in her life.

"Unbothered and staying prayed up and, away from any negativity," she wrote in the caption of a photo.

She was booked into Horry County jail shortly before 5 a.m. Sunday for disorderly conduct.

Daquan Bowers, a defensive end with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers told Horry County Police he had flown Franklin from her home in California to spend time with her. The pair had been drinking on Sunday with Ricky Sapp, a Houston Texans linebacker, according to police reports.

When they returned to Sapp's home, Franklin was highly intoxicated and was "yelling, slamming doors and refused to stop when asked," they told police.

The men called police, who found her lying in a neighbor's yard. She posted $280 bond and was released from jail around noon Sunday.

Franklin joined Destiny's Child in 2000, but left the group months later.
