'Ghost: The Musical' arrives at Pantages

HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The 1990 film, "Ghost," was a romantic blockbuster, and now the musical version has arrived in Hollywood.

Writer Bruce Joel Rubin won an Oscar for his original screenplay for the movie version. He penned the play and a few of the songs.

Like most adaptations, what we see on stage is going to be different from what we see on film, but Rubin is quick to say all the "magic" is still there.

"Ghost: The Musical" is at the Pantages Theatre through July 13.
