From superstars to Super Bowl players, celebrities kept their fans in the loop using social media throughout the night. Here are some of the most buzzworthy posts, from pregame hype to jubilant celebrations.



Before the game, Tom Brady's supermodel wife showed her support with this photo, which has hundreds of thousands of likes:




But Seahawks defensive back Earl Thomas might have won for cutest pregame family photo, showing off his daughter's team pride.




Lenny Kravitz, who made an appearance to sing "I Kissed A Girl" with Katy Perry, posted this photo with the caption, "The good officers of the Phoenix PD are making sure I'm not late to the #SuperBowl #SB49"




Kevin Hart and Will Ferrell were among the stars having fun in the stands.




And so was Steven Tyler, one of the most laid-back fans in the stadium.

He was probably joking, but he certainly has the connections needed if he really wanted it.



Rapper Missy Elliott sent out an emotional thank you after joining Perry on the field.




To commemorate her high-flying half-time performance, Katy Perry got new ink. Her caption: "I thought it would be appropriate to draw blood tonight...XLIX"




After the game, film stars Chris Pratt and Chris Evans tweeted about a bet they placed for charity, and both stars will visit the children's hospital of Patriots fan Evans' choice.







Russell Wilson took the loss with grace but optimism, saying he would return to the big game one day.




Patriots defensive end Chandler Jones posted this photo of him and teammate Rob Gronkowski celebrating in the locker room.
