Video surfaces of Santa Ana sexual predator, police say
Surveillance footage captured a man Santa Ana police said is wanted in at least three sexual assault cases dating back to September of 2015.

SANTA ANA, Calif. (KABC) -- Police are searching for a sexual predator they said has sexually assaulted three women in Santa Ana.

Santa Ana police alerted the public about the suspect toward the end of January, but have since linked him to another assault that they said was caught on video.

That incident happened on Oct. 7, 2015 in the parking lot located at 3701 S. Bristol St. Video of the attack showed the suspect following a female walking toward her car in the parking lot by herself, according to police.

Investigators said when the suspect caught up to the victim in the parking lot, he tried to talk to her, stating that his name was Victor.

The suspect followed the victim between two parked cars, where he began touching and assaulting her, according to authorities.

The victim screamed and began calling for help from security, prompting the suspect to run from the scene.

Police said the suspect was wearing a distinctive white T-shirt with graphics, shorts, and black sneakers at the time of the attack.

The suspect is also wanted in connection with attacks that occurred on Sept. 4, 2015 and Jan. 1, 2016.

The September assault happened shortly after 11 p.m. in the area of Raitt Street, south of McFadden Avenue.

Police said the suspect approached a female walking by herself and tried to engage her in conversation. The suspect then grabbed the victim, pinned her against a tree out of sight of passing cars, and began groping and sexually assaulting her, according to officials.

Investigators said the victim scratched the suspect's face, yelled, and was able to escape before the assault escalated.

The January assault occurred on Raitt Street north of McFadden Avenue after 10 p.m. Police said the suspect approached a female walking by herself and tried to talk to her.

The suspect told the victim his name was Victor, according to officials.

Police said the suspect sexually assaulted the victim and the female responded by punching him in the face. The suspect violently pushed the victim to the ground before he fled, according to authorities.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man between the ages of 24 and 29, standing between 5 feet, 4 inches and 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighing between 150 to 165 pounds.
