FULLERTON, Calif. (KABC) -- After several package thefts, a Fullerton neighborhood believes the same person is to blame after surveillance caught one of the crimes.

Video showed a woman walking up to a doorstep in Fullerton, grabbing a package and sprinting away. The package belongs to Dan Komaromi.

Komaromi was at work when it happened and said the thief struck just 30 minutes after the package was delivered.

"It seems almost like she's a pro at doing this, and that means it could be much more widespread and that's concerning," he said.

An ABC7 viewer sent Eyewitness News the video using #ABC7Eyewitness.

In the video, you can see clear shots of the suspect's face and her car after zooming in.

Komaromi said he recently installed cameras after hearing about several mail thefts in his neighborhood.

Walt Johnson said his mail's been taken at least three times, and he's now installing cameras of his own.

Both men said other neighbors have seen the same woman in the area before, and there's some irony in what she stole.

"Two surveillance hard drives. And these were actually to replace the older hard drives in the same video recording system that caught her on camera," Komaromi said.

The victim of the theft said the equipment is worth nearly $600.

Fullerton police said officers are investigating the crime and are asking for the public's help to identify the suspect.

As for Komaromi's message to the thief, he said, "You can't outrun the camera lens."

Anyone with information on the crime was asked to call Fullerton police at (714) 738-5336.
