VIDEO: Crews rescue stranded hiker in Griffith Park

GRIFFITH PARK, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Emergency crews responded to help a stranded hiker in Griffith Park on Monday.

The Los Angeles Fire Department said they received the report of a stranded hiker at about 3:05 p.m.

Fire officials said the hiker was stranded on a steep hillside near Bee Rock.

Both air and ground crews responded to the scene.

The stranded hiker was helped up the steep hillside and to safety at about 3:50 p.m.
