Man stabbed to death in Compton

COMPTON, Calif. (KABC) -- A man was found fatally stabbed in Compton Sunday evening.

Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies from the Century Station responded to a call in the 7600 block of Compton Avenue. When deputies arrived, they found the victim suffering from multiple stab wounds.

Witnesses said the victim was walking southbound on the street when an unknown person physically attacked and stabbed the person.

The victim was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

No suspect information was available. The investigation was ongoing.
